Scope and operator
These terms cover the Pixel Pin app and official website, operated by TeamHJD. GitHub and any payment service linked in the future have their own terms. Use the GitHub contact link below to reach the operator.
Free use and permission
You may install and use official builds free of charge for personal and commercial work. TeamHJD claims no separate rights over the color codes the app produces. You remain responsible for respecting rights in other people’s images, designs, and trademarks. The app and website belong to TeamHJD or their respective rights holders. Permission to use the app does not grant unrestricted rights to redistribute or resell its source or assets. Rights granted by law or a component’s own license remain unaffected.
Using the app responsibly
While running, the app reads a small screen area, detects screen clicks to pin or resume, and writes a color code to the clipboard when you choose Copy. Clicks also reach the underlying application. Use the pin shortcut during sensitive tasks and close the app when you do not need it. Do not use it to break the law or infringe someone else’s rights.
Color accuracy and compatibility
Output is expressed in sRGB. It does not reproduce the full brightness or gamut of an HDR display, or measure a monitor’s physical light output. CMYK is a reference conversion without an ICC print profile; HSV and CMYK strings are not standard CSS syntax. Independently verify values for print or other work that requires precise color. Capture behavior can vary with Windows, drivers, and display settings.
Updates and responsibility
Features and compatibility may change through updates. We aim to fix reported issues, but cannot promise error-free operation in every environment or suitability for every purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
Optional support purchases
We are considering an optional way to support development through Lemon Squeezy. No checkout link is active on this site. Choosing not to pay does not change access to the current free app or its features. We will not present a product-free donation as a Lemon Squeezy product. Any permitted digital product and its terms will be clearly described before checkout is offered. We do not promise a charitable receipt or tax deduction.
Pricing, cancellation, and refunds
There is currently no paid transaction to refund for the free app. Before offering an optional product, we will disclose what it includes, the seller, price, currency, taxes, delivery, whether payment is one-time or recurring, cancellation and refund terms, and contact details. Refunds will follow the policy shown at purchase and applicable law. We will not use a blanket no-refund rule to override statutory consumer rights. Payments will remain unavailable until these details are ready.
Third-party components and links
Bundled .NET runtimes and DirectX libraries retain their own licenses; see the distribution’s NOTICE and third-party files. The website uses system fonts and does not load external font services or advertising or analytics SDKs. Visiting an external service subjects that visit to the provider’s own policies.
Changes and contact
Material changes will be announced on the website with their effective date, with advance notice or consent where required by law. The Korean, English, and Simplified Chinese versions are intended to convey the same terms; please report translation inconsistencies. Mandatory law and consumer protections continue to apply.
